There is a location in Rome way off any beaten path that hosts one of the city's best kept secrets, the “Parco degli Acquedotti.”
Two colossal ancient aqueducts are found in this beautiful park on the outskirts of Rome that strangely enough is not taken into consideration by tourists visiting the city.
With our friends of Italy-America Chamber of Commerce West Los Angeles we will take you to visit this stunning construction built during the Roman Empire that carried drinking water from the mountains and countrysides into the city. A precious liquid that was, and still is, fundamental in every single dish. From coffee, to pizza to pasta!
Learn all about Rome's hidden treasure with Eric. Enjoy the beauty of the Parco degli Acquedotti.

Roman Aromas - A True Italian Taste Series: Rome's Trapizzino Pizza
Have you ever heard of a Trapizzino? We would say it is a perfect combination between a typical roman dish and a triangular pizza that resembles a “tramezzino”?
A genius invention from chef Stefano Callegari who came up with a modern, portable gourmet “scarpetta”. Trapizzino symbolizes the cobtemporary essence of roman street food.
In collaboration with True Italian Taste, Benedetta with Local Aromas grabbed a Trapizzino with “pollo alla cacciatora”, a culinary roman staple stuffed inside a special pizza dough. A finger-licking good way to enjoy Rome's Testaccio area.

And this is what a group of creative friends did when they decided to open Fassangue in Rome (Italy), the meat sushi heaven where everything is raw, not just rare!
With our friends from Italy-America Chamber of Commerce West Los Angeles we will take you to the former working-class neighborhood of Rome called Centocelle, now home to some of the capital's best destinations for eating and drinking, to taste this innovative sushi-style concept that is worth every mile!

Roman Aromas - A True Italian Taste Series: Aperitivo
Summer is around the corner and you are ready to plan your next escape! With our friends of the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce West Los Angeles, we have some exciting adventures in store for you. 'Cause we all know that some of the best stories worth living can be found in the pages of one's passport!
Let's kick it off with Aperitivo, a slow-paced Italian evening ritual where friends meet up over drinks to unwind from a busy day and relax before dinner.
Location, drinks, and food all play a key role. Aperitivo is mostly held in noisy piazzas or stunning rooftops. We enjoyed ours at Terrazza Borromini, one of the most exclusive rooftops in Rome.
Traditionally Aperol Spritz and Negroni are the all-time favorite aperitivo drinks and they are always served with something to nibble on.
Learn all about the Italian pre-dinner ritual with us and the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce West Los Angeles for the True Italian Taste Campagne.
