This was an exciting week for Local Aromas! We were proud and delighted to be featured on Radio Food Live, a new digital radio station focusing on Italy’s food scene. The brainchild of two of the biggest names in the world of gastronomic journalism, Andrea Febo and Luca Sessa, the station features a range of Italian-language program dedicated to all aspects of Italy’s culinary landscape including beer, pizza, nutrition, wine, and even discussions about marketing, PR and, branding.


Radio Food Live’s only program in English is hosted by the amazing blogger, journalist, and author Maria Pasquale, whose successful HeartRome blog about Italian food and travel inspired her fascinating book of recipes and stories from the Eternal City, I Heart Rome, which was released last year. Maria’s weekly radio broadcast features interviews with some of the top names in the Rome food business, so we jumped at the chance to be part of such a fantastic project.

The interview was conducted with Local Aromas co-founder Benedetta Bianchini who also happens to be an olive oil and wine sommelier, cheese taster, and self-declared foodie. So who better to go along and chat to Maria about the world of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and much, much more!
